Humans Helping Dogs is a small but passionate Australian not for profit based in Mandurah, Western Australia, and our mission is to make life better and kinder for dogs in need, both in Australia and overseas.
We do this through reward-based, creative fundraising for rescue dog organisations and by spreading awareness about their exceptional work!

Soi Dog Foundation
We are always happy to support Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand*, who rescue, heal and care for no less than 1,000 rescue dogs in their shelter at any given time, and who actively fight the dog meat trade on many levels. Soi Dog has an outstanding and much-praised program that helps their dogs find loving homes all over the world.

POOPS WA (Pets of Older Persons)
Humans Helping Dogs is proud to announce that we are now partnering with POOPS WA, a gem of a West Aussie organisation that helps keep temporarily or permanently incapacitated seniors and their beloved pets together (when pets might otherwise have to be surrendered) by providing free dog walking services and transportation to the vet when needed. How great is that?! If you are in need of help, or know someone who is, or would like to become a POOPS volunteer, please contact POOPS WA direct at

For anyone planning a trip to India, we recommend this very special shelter in Tamil Nadu (Southern India) in a temple town called Tiruvannamalai. Our founder, Margot, spent two life-changing weeks there, participating in hair-raising rescues and spending quality time with the CEO, Leslie Robinson and his dedicated staff, who work miracles with the thousands of street dogs and other animals they rescue, heal and care for. OUR 2019 GIVING TUESDAY FUNDRAISER WAS A MASSIVE SUCCESS!
Dear Dog Lovers,
We're proud to announce that our first ever Giving Tuesday fundraiser sale in December raised $3,600 for Greyhound Adoptions WA in just over a week!
This meant that in Humans Helping Dogs' first year of existence, we smashed our fundraising goal of $5,000, raising in the last 4 months of 2019 a very healthy $6,711 for Greyhound Adoptions WA!
100% of this money is now aiding in the rescue, healing, fostering and adoption of beautiful real life hounds no longer wanted by the racing industry.
We thank every one of you kind, wonderful people who participated in our 2019 campaign!

SEEKING... ten Matching Donors of $500 each for our 2020 Giving Tuesday (December) Greyhound Adoptions WA fundraiser.
We are looking for ten kind individuals or small businesses to step up as Matching Donors (to the value of $500) for our next big (now iconic) knitted hound campaign in December.
And as a thank you, Humans Helping Dogs is offering publicity on our social media platforms, plus an adorable knitted dog of your choice, plus several limited edition original artworks by Fine Artist / Humans Helping Dog founder, Margot Wirburd.
And all donations as Matching Donors are fully tax deductible! (You can make your full deductibel donation in Tax Year 2019-2020, or in July of 2020 corresponding to the next tax year.)
